Abstract

A current controller in PV on-grid systems have a significant effect on the quality of the current injected to the grid. In this case, the current controller should provide a high quality sinusoidal current waveform with the low appearance of harmonic distortion. One popular current control method that could be found in literatures is proportional-resonant control system. This paper is preliminary work on the implementation of the current injection control system for on-grid PV system which have been built in our Lab. The PR control system have been simulated in Matlab-Simulink software environment with good result and will be embedded in a low cost dsPIC microcontroller.
