Abstract

Semarang Old Town area after revitalization was carried out had an impact on the increasing number of visitor activities that came and the increasing number of conversion of old buildings into restaurants, cafes and other public places. This impact affects the risk of noise levels in old buildings in Semarang Old Town Area because the age of old buildings and building structures is different from modern buildings today. This study aims to analyze the noise level and cluster the noise level of heritage buildings in Semarang Old Town Area. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using primary data obtained from direct observation at the research location. Noise level measurements are carried out on weekends and weekdays during peak hours at 33 measurement points. The results of noise level measurements ranged from 53.63 to 71.24 on weekdays and on weekends the noise level ranged from 56.95 to 70.69. Based on mapping, there are 24 points that exceed the standard safe limit of noise level, which is 60 dB for Cultural Heritage Areas and there are 90 heritage buildings exposed to noise levels of more than 60 dB.
